The B&S by-election perfectly illustrated how vacuous politics has become.
It's now a battle for identities, cultures, religious groups, genders and races. A competition for victimhood status and of grievance escalation.
The problem is when those identities clash. The working class fight like rats a sack instead of uniting against 'the man'. That which the left saw as their salvation has become their nemesis.
