Dear Jim Dando

What is that gunk that sticks free CD's onto the front of magazines?

regards

Brown Sound. (Not the shit bloke from Sum41.)

Brown Sound,

I enjoyed your single Fat Lip.

It's glue that is stuck on the front of magazines. It holds the CDs in place.

Rgds,

JDG

Dear JDG

I have left them. I am now a management consultant.

That free CD gunk is no type of glue that is earthly. Please alter your answer.

Dearest James,

my club has a huge problem in the goal. Raphael Schäfer is a disgrace. He's to blame for our bad season. Because of him we won't play CL next season. Even the UEFA-Cup is in danger. My questions are: Do you know a club who'd take him off us and which goalkeeper do you suggest in return for Stuttgart?

Thank you very much for yor time.

Dearest Guts,

So nice to hear from you.

It's important to remember that you are lucky that your team is even in contention for a European place. Many aren't so fortunate.

Middlesbrough like buying rubbish players with silly names, so they would probably be happy to exchange Mark Schwarzer for him.

Hope that helps,

James

Deares James,

after getting silly replies in my original topic I thought about you. The Robin Hood of this board. So I'll repeat my problem in here (this is a computer thing):

I click on a part of the text with my mouse and the cursor jumps a little bit to the left. It's in forums, MS Office, the internet, notepad, whatever.

Am I doing something wrong, or do I have a problem with the software/hardware/virus/whatever?

I expect nothing less than the final solution to my problem.

Why don't you try clicking slightly further over to the right?

Dear James

How did you find Hot Chip? I only saw a few minutes of them as I was watching Neil Young (who was a bit boring by the way).

Justice were fantastic. I didn't enjoy them as much as Soulwax who just tore it up completely but I did spend an hour dancing like a twat to them which, considering my lack of rhythm is quite an achievement.

Dear SN,

Justice were absolutely insane. Met up with a bloke who'd seen them 10 tens and he said this was their best show. I've only seen them the once, so I can't compare but it felt like a legendary show.

I didn't stay for all of Hot Chip because I wanted to see a bit of Spiritualized and Fujiya & Miyagi. Plus My Bloody Valentine were playing on the main stage twenty minutes later. What I saw of Hot Chip, they were really good. My Bloody Valentine were fucking amazing though.

Best,

James

You're right. I won't. Haven't thought about my captain so far. It wasn't me. It was the page itself if I'm not mistaken.

And also bear in mind that Gary Neville might take back his place in the Man United team.

And what might be his place in the team? Certainly not the pitch, right?

Anyway. Thank you!  jc

Dear Post Captain Jack Aubrey of His Majesties Royal Navy

It's nice to have some nautical company on this thread.

I think the weather is largely to blame. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of mind-altering drugs, however.

Thanks for the reply James.  Summer, there has been no summer.

I have started to watch the first series of The Wire, how many series are there?

Glad to hear of you purchase of COD4, not been on it in a while.  We must hook up some time and kill people with guns and bombs.

Aubmeister, there are four seasons of The Wire currently available on DVD. The fifth season is currently on FX and will be released on DVD on 22nd September. The fifth is the final season.

I've only played through the first level - on the boat - when my skills are up to scratch, we should try to best some shouty American teenagers.
