I can't for the life of me remember the connection.  Sunderland children must have been fed Pop Tarts from then on.

.....I think perhaps Abel Xavier springs to mind more readily.

but he never wore a black and white shirt, and his club weren't sponsored by Sugar Puffs so the link doesn't work very well. Now, if there is ever an ad campaign going for a good performance enhancer that you can take without ever knowing about it, then Abel is your man.

On the subject of NUFC shirts, you should go and see The Queen. 'Tony Blair ' plays the opening scenes in his #10 b/w top.

It's because the player the 'Honey Monster' was playing with in the advert was Kevin Keegan who was at Newcastle at the time.......

There was another version of this pathetic so called rivalry the northern inbreds have as TGI Fridays uniform is red and white stripes this is what they wear wether it be london new york paris they wear red and white striped shirts, except in newcastle wear the staff wouldnt wear them so they actually added a black stripe onto their shirts, how pathetic is that. They should have said right if yoyr not wearing you can collect your p45 from the counter.

completely the opposite. I was infering that the only thing anyone knows about you of significance was that you like shoes, lots of them.
