You are very right - a lot of sportsmen and women due to having that much money through sport - now think they are above many laws in many countries.

Some of it is media-driven in an odd kind of way because if the big boys or women aint in the tournament - the viewing figures suffer and, the money gets slashed by the tv lot. So the players play on it and try to push their luck knowing tournaments need them
