Last week the NHS advised that if you were having a heart attack or stroke you should get someone to drive you to A&E as the average wait for an ambulance was several hours.

FFS poor bastards are allowed to have a bit of fun when they get the chance, it's a grime job at times so why not, as long as they aren't on the way to a patient.
