Next song lined up is Love Changes (Everything) by Michael Ball. Recorded it last week, complete with big finish but i kinda lost my way when editing the track for cd quality and binned the track. With me not "singing" for the best part of 9 months(been doing 5 nights a week a week for the last 7 years) my vocal cords are shrinking, so big songs are leaving me with a sore throat for a few days. It's like weight training, if you don't train for a few month and go back to it, your muscles feel tender and strained. The vocal cord is the same. My CD when finished will consist of. I auditioned for the voice 2 years ago. It was at Stockton Durham University. I had to turn up with my ipad and perform a song in to a video camera while the music was played 50ft above my head at a level i could barely hear. The whole process was a joke. I was informed ALL auditions were don't the same way. No PA, No Mic and very quiet distant music. I hated it, couldn't relax. Then i found out that the auditions later that night at Sticky Fingers were completely different, PA system, Microphone and a decent level of music. I only did the audition to shut up a few mates who were going on and on and on about it. I made it through to the 2020 Karaoke World Championship(UK) but missed the deadline to perform. I would've been representing the UK if i'd have won it. Will reapply for 2021 |
