It’s a lot more complicated than that. For a lot it probably is the parents fault, poor choices such as expensive trainers / fags / beer / sky tv etc instead of food on the table. Though if the parents have lost work because of COVID etc it’s not really their fault. Either way you can’t blame the kids and they shouldn’t starve. I’d rather some of my taxes were spent on feeding kids rather than paying for dickhead MPs to drink expensive wine / whiskey and eat steak.

As a taxpayer, I would like our social services to be fully aware of the kids that are going hungry. If they are going hungry, starving or under nourished then the parents need to be brought to task and made accountable. If evidence suggests they're spending their benefits or income on other luxuries, drugs, fags, alcohol fast food shite and not necessities like nutritious food, clothing and shelter then they should be charged with neglect and the kids taken into care. A short sharp shock, some training in parenthood and then being assessed thoroughly before being allowed to care for their kids. This is proper wellbeing, the Marcus Rashford approach is out and out virtue signalling and means fuck all apart from there being systemic failing in our welfare system, which social services are accountable for and what they get paid for. Do your fucking jobs properly.
