When Boro where promoted to the inaugural premier league who finished above us, and secondly when we were promoted as winners in Robbos first season who finished second.

Was it Forest above us and Reading in second? Not sure if Iíve got mixed up the 1997/98 season.

Can't remember the other off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure of the teams who went up we were the only ones to go straight back down.

As for Robson's: Bolton was one, can't remember the other. Might've been Notts Forest?

Reading were the runners up. Never went up themselves automatically as that was when the Prem cut its numbers and they lost to Bolton in Playoff final. Just the league winners to get from 1992

Wolves away one of the best away days Iíve been to, I was 12. Can still remember the feeling like it was yesterday UTFB

Highlight of that season for me was the Leeds game at home, everyone raving about Cantona before the match and we walloped them 4-1.

Aye, Blackburn joined through play offs, most decent football fans were dreading it being Cambridge.

Off the top of my head I can't remember who came 2nd in '95, but that year there was only one automatic promotion spot, did Bolton come through the play offs?
