The man is a legend. Always been my type of manager and person. Not one fuck given about what anyone else thinks and does everything he can for the club he is at.

If we get him in as manager next season I'm gonna get some season tickets bought.

Should have been in after McClaren. I think he has two more seasons left in him and for some reason we are his dream job so let's hope Gibbo doesn't fuck things up again.

He hasn't even discusses a wage yet for the work he's doing now. That shows you the type of bloke he is and how much he wanted to manage us.

Up The Warhorse!!

Gibson knows him well enough & Warnock made no secret over the years that he'd have liked the Boro job yet Gibbo wouldn't entertain the idea' instead choosing to appoint one dud after another' strange is that.

I like him as a bloke and will be grateful for the wins he has helped us get to secure survival but I wouldn't want him to stay in the long term. He is 71 and his brand of football is the same brand as Pulis's which was rejected by fans. We supposedly made a commitment to transform the clubs footballing ethos for the future, we shouldn't throw that viion away because of one shockingly bad appointment. There are good  managers around who can get us moving playing a good brand of football as well

Four big differences between him and other potential managers:

1. He wants to be here.
2. He wonít view us as a stop gap to put himself in the shop window.
3. He has worked with squad, albeit only for a few months, and has a head start on what the squad lacks.
4. He has won the majority of fans over already.

I donít think heís as pragmatic as Pulis.

He likes to get the ball forward quickly, yes, and doesnít like his defenders fucking about with it, but I think he will give creative / attacking players a lot more freedom to express themselves than Pulis ever would

Heís not a miserable Welsh cunt, either.

He is far more likeable than Pulis.

Pulis is a dull, arrogant, dull, self-serving, dull cunt.

Thing is he's only here because Pulis turned down the chance to return.True that.
