He lied to the queen and 11 of the highest judges in the country have found him guilty of an unlawful act.

i'm going all Gramsci on your ass. :chrisk:

Is there a difference between unlawful and illegal?
Black's Law Dictionary defines unlawful as not authorized by law, illegal. Illegal is defined as forbidden by law, unlawful. Semantically, there is a slight difference. It seems that something illegal is expressly proscribed by statute, and something unlawful is just not expressly authorized.

No absolutely not.

How did he lie to the Queen? The Attorney General advised the government Prologuing Parliment was legal.

What's the sentence for trying to deliver the democratic will of the British people these days?

Which actual law on the statute did he break?
Our pro-EU media isn't asking that question but if the Supreme Court can't prove he broke a specific LAW on the statute book they in turn could be taken to the ECHR themselves!

They're a part of the whole pro-EU fudge. They are assisting the Remain driven attempts to erode the power of a PM (and any future PM) and the consequences of these ego driven crusades by the likes of Gina Miller and John Major etc. will be far reaching and very damaging in the years to come.

However, it changes nothing for Brexit. We're leaving on 31st October.

None, hence no criminal charges. It's just judges playing politics.

He should get this election sorted if delayed to November. Corbyn crying wolf and wont be able to hide behind that for long.  Go into cahoots with Brexit party and wreck labour in the north. Get a majority and its bye bye eu and stick yer 39billion up where the sun dont shine.   So what if he lied to the queen.......I bet prince Andrew has been telling a few porkies of late to her so she is used to dealing with liars

No from me.

At least with Boris (and I'm no fan) you know what the end goal is. With the rest, I haven't a clue. Too much party politics for me & not enough effort going in to seeing that the democratic result is delivered to the country.

You do know that I'm not actually a farmer don't you? I have a logistics business and I work in an office in an industrial estate. It's just Lid's little joke.
Our land is just for playing on. We grow hazlenuts, walnuts and almonds and some veg for our own use on a few acres, the rest is just grassland to look at and somewhere for the dog run about. We sometimes let local farmers put some sheep on it. Never sold any produce, never had a subsidy payment.

Soz.

In any case the farmers will be looked after (as per usual) post-Brexit. If it was up to me I'd take the New Zealand approach and remove all farm subsidies. Farmers need to operate in a real world environment and concentrate on efficiency.
