Its about time we had a realistic conversation about immigration without the radical left screeching racist at anyone who dare mention that it might be a good idea that we figure out how many immigrants our society can sustain without negatively impacting the lives of those who already live here. Of course the left wants a housing, schools and hospitals crisis because they can then blame the evil Tories for not taxing everyone at 100% to pay for their utopian socialist fantasies.

What a ridiculous trope that is. Are you suggesting you are happy for the financial elite to reap the benefits of immigration so long as its the poor that suffer? That was certainly an open policy of Blair and Brown and the rest of the champagne socialists. Here's an idea, how about we set a level of immigration that our public services can sustain and if that isn't enough for the financial elite we ask them to voluntarily contribute more?

Even if that were true, no sensible policy would ever just open the doors to anyone and everyone.

""A staggering 12,445,000 workers in the UK earn more than the average public sector wage - meaning they are in the firing line for a tax hike. They would have to cough up an average £2,571 extra in tax to raise the £32bn. The report, called Time for Demand, also calls for the £12,500 income tax free personal allowance to be scrapped. Instead, they want nearly all Brits to be handed a £2,500 yearly handout."" So £71 a year extra then

Any rise of tax to some of the poorest working people in our country is entirely unacceptable.
It should never be more financially beneficial to be on benefits than be in work and taxing the lowest earners makes this a reality.

The proposed rise in tax is effectively 71 pound a year for those earning more than the average public sector wage according to the article, not the poorest in society

Don't they pay enough already? 20% +NI. Then VAT, Fuel, Car tax, Council Tax, the TV License and on and on and on it goes. How about if you want it, YOU BLOODY WELL PAY FOR IT? Stop stealing out of other people's pockets to pay for shit you want.
