So that rules 1974 out!  lost

Awesome at home.
Awesome away off the pitch. Brutal.

If you mean good to watch, we had a good spell under karanaka in the play off defeat season, the football on show was better than the year we got promoted in my opinion. Also, the first half of Mowbrays first full season, I think there was unity between the club, the manager, the team and the fans.

I thought we were good for a few months when Mowbray took charge. Exciting high scoring games until the start of the next season then he went all defensive.

Yeah, I was bored to tears watching us beat Sheff Wednesday 8-0 in a season where we won 27 games, drew 11 games and only lost 4, whilst scoring 77 goals and conceding only 30.

Boring, boring 'Boro.

We played some beautiful stuff under Bruce Ricoh IIRC.

Hamilton running the midfield, Rippers tearing down the wing and Bernie on the Holgate fence.

Im not sure we were consistently good but football was certainly more entertaining in those days.
