The more I drive past it the more I think it's shit

You couldn't beat the old Wembley Stadium especially if you were lucky enough to go watch your team in a cup final

The stadium itself is spot on, but has lost its magic due to the amount of games played on it. As a kid it was the league and FA cup finals and the odd England match. Getting to a final isn't that big a deal to the big hitters anymore, we'll not as much as it would mean to Boro anyways.

There on Sunday(Thanks to those pesky Arabs  :tp1:) The place is bland as fuck. The old place was falling to bits but it was overshadowed with the charm/history of the place.
Should have kept the towers and built an updated replica of the old one, but the FA knows best(Or whoever the fuck it was who gave the green light to that shite) Holding semis there doesn't help.

Went to some cracking England games at Wembley in the 80s and 90s.  Been to new Wembley once which was Poland game couple of years back. Vowed never to go back again. Terrible atmosphere and the authorities let way to many poles in around the ground. Hundreds of them around me got kicked out just before half time. No sympathy when it was kicking off at half time as could have been avoided , but the greedy owners allowed too many tickets to away fans.

English Heritage also withdrew their objections, thus paving the way for the Twin Towers to be demolished
