We were never gonna miss him as we have players who are just as good

My concern is playing wing backs when we eventually come up against good opposition we've look fine so far but that's against teams who will not be competing for promotion
Stewy can't put a good tackle in and Shotton won't be able to sustain the pace against a good attacking side

Early days so far. Give it a few more games. He wasn't performing at his best probably due to a lack of motivation. With hindsight we should have sold young Gibson last summer.

Gibson should have been sold when he was being valued at £20 million plus.

You probably missed it but I am on record as saying Gibson is slow and rather clumsy.

He probably ignored it……like all of your drivel.

Let's get back to the point of the thread shall we Quntzyboy. IMO Gibson is reasonable player but he is no world beater. He struggled  in the Prem with us but Dyche could get more out of him. However he is rather ponderous, and not comfortable on the ball.He is also apt to give penalties away.Aiden Flint is as good a player as Gibson, and he will score more goals from set pieces. To sum up. No,Boro will not miss Ben Gibson as they have in Flint, more than an adequate replacement. It will be interesting to see how he gets on at Burnley.£15 million is not a bad return on the Club's investment in Gibson, but as I said they might have got £20 plus a couple of seasons ago.
