No matter what happens between now & end of season, with still the possibly of 7 games to go, Salah has now outscored career best seasons of Henry, Shearer, Shevchenko,  Inzaghi, Aguero, Van Basten, Fowler, Eto, Owen, Van Persie, Del Piero, Muller, Crespo, Batistuta, Totti, Drogba, Rooney & by taking only 1 penalty.

Decent player. On par with Robben as far as that type if player goes.

Not a patch on the majority of those in the op. One season does not a great player make.

Traore has the potential to be much better than him. That's not a joke either. The way he has improved so much these last few months, if he continues that he will be immense. Much like Christian Ronaldo, he has the potential to be unplayable. If we don't go up then the bidding starts at 80 million.

Traore should be playing the juninho role, lay it on after he's took their midfield apart,
Bamford and scotty mac to bang em in  :homer:

One season Steve, one season!!

Great season, brilliant season but come on, one swallow doesn't make a summer.

If he's still doing it this time next year then give him all the plaudits he'll thoroughly deserve.

Until then stick to telling me how Liverpool have signed a truly world class midfielder in Naby Kieta(who no fucker had heard of until the summer) .  monkey monkey

Read the thread again, not saying anything other than what the thread states. No mention of he is this or he is that. But suspect that 40 goals & counting just might mean he possibly is going to be a little more than a one season wonder.

Whether he goes to Real Madrid or not really isn't the issue here because all I'm saying is out scoring some of them legends for a winger is out of this world. If he does leave & quite possibly he will, then who would blame him for wanting to leave to go play for Real or Barca. Liverpool took him from Roma & so on, that's how it works. But Real & Barca are top of the tree with every club in the world now gets abused by these two clubs who can have the pick of virtually any player they want.

Been discussed on SSN looking at what was spent last summer:

 Lukaku 90m
 Morata 70m
 Lacazette 52.7m
 Siggurdsson 45m
 Bakayoko 40m
 Lindelof 39.5m
 Drinkwater 35m

 Salah 34m

No matter what happens in terms of whether Pool keep him or not, what a buy. Just demonstrates that it is not always about how much you spend.

He's definitely the form player at the moment. He's nowhere near Ronaldo and Messi but his form this season has put him out there at the moment.

I remember when I said exactly the same thing about Rooney when he had that sensational season where he was the form player in the world. Dixie has always brought that up saying I claimed that Rooney was the best player in the world but in fact I'd said exactly what's been said on here and the phone yesterday.
