Who has the flashiest motor on here? Thatís obviously a signifier of your wealth, importance and penis size.

I was quite tempted with a Vauxhall Adam myself . I reckon they look funky.

Anyone who judges someone based on what car they drive, or finds that driving a particular vehicle elevates their self worth, is a superficial moronic cunt

I drive a big fucking GMC Denali edition truck with a Bose theatre system for the kids.  Did i buy it for looks and to say look at me, look at me?  Nope i bought it as it suited my needs and I can afford it so why not?

some people enjoy having a nice car/watch in the way some people enjoy a nice holiday,it's their passion/pleasure.Can't see the point myself but it's up to them.No worse than banging on about what G.P they're going to next.
I have a 15 yr old C70 coupe with 203'000 mile on it,park it where I leave it with no worries,I have 3 watches worth £110 all in.

I don't mind people having nice watches cars and holidays. I don't begrudge anyone that at all. It's just the need to brag about it on here is a bit pathetic. Smacks of insecurity.

Its all about if the car has F1 tyres in my opinion. Someone even contemplating putting a set of F1 replicas on is, in my book, a complete success story.

They are just Pirellis.  Nothing to get excited about although I do think they do actually look good wi the black wheels. Sorry that they don't make a pair to fit your fiesta.

Need to prove your point but Iím significantly less aggressive and argumentative. Iím more in it for the giggles but as you know I hate bigotry and people not willing to learn. Hence I still have my run ins.

It amused me yesterday how I suggested that the Chinese are worse at collecting data on itís citizens than the UK. The people who wish to start arguments with me regardless of content actually tried to argue against that one. Showed either a staggering lack of knowledge or a desperate need to argue with me at all costs.

Anyway back to OP. Adamís are actually more expensive than I thought. Maybe a Twingo instead, decent city car.

And Bob: do you REALLY want a car built by the Japanese who then handed it over to the Italians to do all the tricky electornics? Should be the other way round!

That's why whenever Eni etc get big overseas projects they use Brits in the lead roles and clients always use Brits to police them.

I do like Beemers. Though absolutely not an X 5

Good further point though. The best car you've ever owned?

In all seriousness my SMART roadster was my fave. So light the handling was astonishing. It was like the essence of driving. Purely distilled

Their  running gear is good, it's the electrical components that are poor, same with the French. Fiat supplied engines to vauxhall /SAAB.

Well no I don't or I'd have said that. There's all the cold air ducting and stuff to go along with the filter. Bit more than just swapping a filter

What a fantastic thing to own and drive especially as your dad and you restored it together.

Brilliant. I've restored a number of old motorbikes (much easier) and I know that it takes a lot of patience and a deal of hard work so fair play to your old man.
