Liverpool are reportedly after "25m rated Gibson" and are leading the chase followed by Arsenal, Chelsea, Leicester and West Brom.

Let them chase the price up to 35m and cash in.

If Sunderlands keeper is 30m then 25m is taking the piss,

I think he will go somewhere, all he talks about is playing in the Premier.

Around the John Stones mark 40-50 million  :like:

Gibson 25mil min

Traore 10mil

De Room 20mil

Some kitty if they go for the above prices. To smash the chumps are we looking to invest 30-40mil after we have cashed in with the 3 leaving?

Or would it be better keeping all 3 and spending 20mil?

I always think you are better off with players who want to be here.

A unhappy player is never good for squad harmony.

If they want to stay fine, if they dont get in players who do.

Though 10m for Adama is very tempting on the basis he is shite at football.

With Monk here he may talk a couple into staying. If not he will get backed I'm sure. We will know the club's intent soon enough.

One thing for sure is Garry Monk has come here to work for a great chairman and because he has been promised the resources to get promotion  :mido:

Everyone has his price and Liverpool have never been shy on paying well over the odds for above average players.

Pickford had a outstanding season

So did gibbo till AK left and Agnew took charge and exposed gibbo towards the end I would take 25mil plus see him at a better team playing top level football if he gets exposed there I'm sure he will come back and still be one of our best players win win solution

We'd miss his leadership skills than his on-field skills.

McQuire went for 15M and he's a better player.  Perspective required.

Bit of a step down from getting Van Dijk.
