I thought the bragging happened in the young offenders place where he first was.

Have seen the above image a few times, I can see something happening in the near future.

Anybody watch that documentary the other day?

People arguing they where too young to tried the way they were and it contributed to how they are now. Some scientist said a part of the brain that things about consequence doesn't develop untill the teenage years, so despite knowing it was wrong they didn't realise the impact.

Bollocks

They set out to kill a child that day, it wasn't an accidental death it was a torture and at 10 I certainly new right from wrong.

Scary that people can be born that way.

Have any of you done a family tree? Where is the best place to start? Lots on the internet but its confusing me more than helping me.

5  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Burnley are a much smaller club than Boro. on: February 04, 2018, 10:39:06 AM
Itís also the way it goes, I bet teams like Spurs were saying the same when we battered them 5-1 and finished higher in the league!! Teams like us and pretty much all the teams outside top 6 will have their good seasons but it will finish, see teams like Southampton and Swansea who have done well in recent years! Wigan has a spell as have Blackburn, in 5-10 years another team unexpected will do a Burnley and I reckon in that same period Burnley will be back in the league!

9  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: My first house on: January 29, 2018, 01:20:22 PM
thing is, these days, couples don't want to start at the bottom of the property ladder

they want a new build with all the bells and whistles on it

not interested in something built in the 50's or 60's

they want somewhere on the new estate thats worth more than they have

our first house was on Ochil Terrace in Billingham, its a bit rough round there  klins

after a few years there though we were able to move to somewhere nicer, we never dreamed of moving to a new house and crippling ourselves financially

I disagree with that

Me and my partner are looking to buy and new builds are the only options. Help to buy schemes and low deposits.

Prices in Northallerton are ridiculous, a desposit for an existing house we need around £25 to £30k. New builds we can get going with £10k deposit.
10  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Longest youve gone without a drink? on: January 25, 2018, 01:43:46 PM
I don't drink in the house, never phases me. I will if I go out which is less and less these days. Never feel like I need a break to be honest.

Im all for making international football important and good again but this seems like over kill.

Keep my pits tidy as they are pretty wild and also keep pubic area tidy, I wouldn't want to be going down on a hairy girl so I don't think she does on me*

*That makes it sound like my lass is keen on this, she isn't, its my birthday next week though so who knows

14  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Kyle Walker and John Stones on: January 24, 2018, 12:59:59 PM
Walker is perfect for the way Southgate wants to play.

Stones is ok but does too much, any pressure and he is capable of a good cock up but I would say this the same for most centre backs nowadays, not just English. The 'new' style is encouraging defenders to be able to play football, make a pass etc. no nonsense isn't really the criteria, Christ people are buying goalkeepers based on their passing skills.

Nations as a hole are weaker for me, we have enough going forward, defence doesn't bother me so much. The issue is who plays in the centre. Non of the options fill me with confidence.

We will be fine for the group

16  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: WATFORD MANAGER SACKED on: January 22, 2018, 01:11:15 PM
Watford like most teams

Soton
Stoke
Palace
Burnley etc etc

Teams that come now, it goes two ways. You go straight back down or you have a go and manage a few years but it will eventually end.

Stoke, Swansea and Soton have all been top half teams playing good football, now their time is up and at least one of them will be down.

Its a cycle and Watford are no different.

For me, top players should be sorting this, its a weeks wage to a lot now.

I wasn't born but was obviously in attendance that day.

Surely another club would have put us up and the town must have made a fortune that day, given that 250,000 fans attended
21  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Your immediate reaction to Pulis on: January 08, 2018, 01:43:50 PM
The Sunderland game was the first game I have seen with him in charge.

What I did like was he seems to have cut out a lot of the frustrating things we have had to put up with. Putting free kicks into the box, not always looking to pass back, throw-ins into the box and not backwards, players been a little more attacking minded.

I was disappointed he held back after the break when they where there for the taking. Had Randolph not pulled off a world class save it could have been a nervy ending which would have been criminal. Bringing Clayton on was good but for me he should have gone like for like rather than bringing an attacking player off.

Overall impressed and its still early days and he is clearly trying to give everyone some game time.

Iím no expert and politics is something I give zero fucks about but I honestly canít believe how the emergency services have to face cuts, I think itís disgusting this is people lives at risk! Regardless of population and immigration or whatever, the need will increase but the resource decreases! We should not be sacrificing these services!

Didnít we spend 30m on the fireworks at new year in London? Itís a load of bollocks

28  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Coutinhio on strike on: January 03, 2018, 09:09:16 AM
I donít think itís a bad move for Liverpool to be honest, if they get £150m they could sort their defence out and maybe look at an actual number 9 aswell as Keita coming in, they would be a lot stronger then they are now. With Mane, Firminho and Salah and Llallana to come back.
29  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: This season shows just what a poor squad we have. on: January 02, 2018, 04:50:01 PM
What will Pulis formation and XI be though?

The current squad was assembled based on two managers who love 4-2-3-1

If Tony wants 4-4-2 we don't have the players to do it without people being out of position
30  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Any good transfer rumours on: January 02, 2018, 04:47:30 PM
Clayton must be going, rumours of a scuffle after the Derby defeat, he hasn't been in the squad since and since Pulis has been here Baker and the other lad have been back in the team/squad ahead of him.

Fabio is going back to Brazil

Possibly Forshaw/Traore

Hoping we do bring somebody in....

Christmas Day - Chaos and having my parents and in laws round for food and festive bollox

Boxing Day - Sedgefield Races with the lads, Norton on the evening
36  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Norton on: December 20, 2017, 02:08:27 PM
Norton is fine, I grew up there and had no issues. It has its rough estates/areas like all places.

It is now a cracking place for food and drink, like all places though that is bringing people from out of the area and will also appeal to thieves due to sheer number of places all now making lots of money.

37  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Pre-Season Expectations. Be Honest on: December 19, 2017, 12:03:47 PM
I don't understand why anybody was excited by Monk, he has achieved nothing.

Clearly I was wrong to be excited. I had liked what I saw of him and assumed Leeds fans where just bitter.

I think I liked that we appointed someone with a degree of English managerial experience. Saying that I was also positive when we appointed Strachan, I thought he was what we needed at the time........
38  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Pre-Season Expectations. Be Honest on: December 18, 2017, 04:54:38 PM
I was impressed that we got Monk, I thought he was a good manager and I was glad we went for somebody rated highly that other clubs had shown interest in

I thought the signings were promising. Britt is a proven goal scorer in an average team, Howson, I had always rated and plenty of Norwich fans where gutted at losing him

I thought Christie was a good signing

Keeping Gibson was huge and having Randolph was a big statement for this league.

With all of the above I full expected us to be challenging at the top. I didn't think we would smash the league or have it our own way but I thought we would be comfortable top 6 throughout.

You cant predict all the outcomes, sadly Monk has not delivered, the new signings have been average our reliable defence is shocking and we play the same as the last promotion campaign with less pace which is horrific.

42  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Burnley are 4th in the PL. on: December 14, 2017, 02:27:16 PM
9 games 17pts at home, 8 games 14 pts away

so home form argument is bullshit

Fair point but who have they played at home and away?

At home you fancy them against the teams below them and able to steal a point from the top ones except City. Away from home I would only see them winning against those below and getting nothing off big boys
43  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Burnley are 4th in the PL. on: December 14, 2017, 01:58:11 PM
And its not all about his ability not being good enough for a top club. As said already he recruits hard working players who currently feel it a privilege playing for the club in the premier league and he keeps them in check. Players who didn't cost too much and done come armed with an ego and a money grabbing agent.

If he was at Arsenal and his approach would piss off people like Ozil. Dyche would be the one getting sacked. Player power at the top clubs rules
44  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Burnley are 4th in the PL. on: December 14, 2017, 12:34:22 PM
They are having one of those seasons.

They have only scored 16 goals in 17 games so they are hardly dominating teams they are having the rub of the green and are difficult to beat, especially at home.

They deserve praise but it means nothing at the moment, they will drop in the second half od the season in my opinion.

Apart from the top 6, any team with a decent run or consistency will appear high. Everton where in a terrible spot a few weeks back, now they are closer to the top 6.

Dyche is a good manager for a club like Burnley, he will not be the same anywhere else and would not succeed at a top team. He suits no budget

Before I moved to Northallerton, I was always led to believe it was a nice place full of well to do people.

Could not be further from the truth. Yes, it has its nice parts and people do live here who have los of money but some of the stuff that goes on is worse than I ever saw when living in Stockton.

A few years back, I met her in Empire and she said come back to mine.

She lived in South Bank, I have been in better houses. her bed was a matrass on the floor and the house looked like it had just come through a major fire but it was Christmas, she seemed nice so went ahead and honoured her wish.

Might even class it as a double dip.

Never saw her again

They will drop points, itís not a massive squad. Champions league and FA Cup to add in after Christmas also.

Problem is the others are so inconsistent.
