Without sounding childish here Bill, buy him out , if not broker a deal with someone you know who has the money to do it.....everyone one has a price even I know that ....

This argument is put every time it is mooted that Gibson should sell up and move on. Are you seriously telling me that Gibson could not find  new investors in this club? I simply do not believe it. In Championship terms Boro are a big club with a great deal of potential. The truth of the matter is that Gibson wants to be a big fish in a little pond. At some point he will have to consider stepping away. I maintain that this time has come. Unfortunately, ego and control freakery are getting in the way. The alternative answer however could be that Mr Gibson has no idea what to do,and continually hopes like Mr  Mickawber thatĒ something will turn up.

As I have maintained for some considerable time ,Gibson is the problem. He is past it. The club is just drifting, rudderless, and he seems incapable of stopping this malaise. He needs to go.

Looks to me that Warnock isnít capable of getting consistently good performance out of this group of players. Something isnít right at this club.We will be lucky to avoid a relegation scrap. If we do then these players havenít got the fight in them. I predict a new manager before Christmas.

Good. Itís a rotting reminder of Teessideís heavy industrial past. It has no,place in the modern economy needed now in the North East, and especially Teesside. Industrial heritage my arse.

A very pleasant surprise,as I am surrounded by Forest fans in this village.

Why not find them commensurately with the costs of their action. Take their homes, cars etc off them or any assets they posses.

The Anti-Vaxers  would claim that the ď factsĒ are suspect. They will never be convinced, even if they compiled the stats themselves. There is no hope for them, and COVID is waiting to claim them.

Let's hope Boro start to get their show on the road with a thumping win at Forest. Somehow I don't think so.

Perhaps the title of this thread should be, ď Going nowhere with GibsonĒ.

Boroís inability to score is getting embarrassing.

I had great hopes for Warnock, but it seems heís turning out to be yet another Gibson disaster.

I watch GB News on You Tube. Better sound and picture quality. Probably so do tens of thousands of others.

With Neil it wasnít right of centre. It was rather wish washy at times. Itís obvious that the owner wants much more bite. As the UK is a conservative country with a small c ,we need a broadcaster to take on the woke BBC and lefty Sky News. I see a great future for GB News as it continues to get its act together, and speaks for the majority of the British people. Iím afraid you are going to be disappointed Senor El Capitan, and you are not getting the answers you were fishing for. Tough.
20  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: GB NEWS on: September 08, 2021, 10:55:09 AM
Much better now Neil is off the scene. Itís moving right of centre and gaining bigger audiences. Nigel Farage is certainly helping to gain audience share. Hopefully Neil is being put out to grass.

Some talk of the new striker deal being in a spot of bother. As I alluded to earlier Boro desperately need a goal poacher.

Will we ever have a striker who can score a goal now and then.? Our main threat seems to be totally knackered after about an hour and has to go,off.

32  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: The Fraud Continues. on: August 12, 2021, 02:07:06 PM
To measure attainment across a cohort it has to be standardized. Teacher asssessment is just the opposite. That is why you need externally set, marked, and standardized exams. Not course work ,as this is prey to teacher subjectivity. If I was an employer or university entrance officer I would not trust the results of the last two years. Im afraid this inept government gave in to the teaching unions. The only people to lose out are the students, who will always have the stigma of rigged results hanging over their heads. It must be incredibly galling to those really gifted students who will never get the recognition they deserved.

Students must be getting much cleverer during COVID. Perhaps itís a side effect of the virus. Grades nearly 20% higher for the last two years.
36  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: A level grades not worth the paper they are printed on. on: August 07, 2021, 08:52:55 AM
It seems the more prestigious universities have decided that our wonderful teachers canít be trusted. Too right. Grade inflation has been  happening for years. The latest COVID politically motivated  antics of the teaching unions has now rendered teacher assessed grades worthless. They have dug their own grave.

Have you been aware of this Covid thing?

COVID has nothing to do with grade inflation you half wit. It has everything to do with substandard teachers who cannot be trusted to award appropriate grades. Incidentally, if they had kept teaching in the classroom( instead of running away) A level students could at least have taken exams which might have more credibility than some half baked teacher assessment. You also seem to have completely missed the point that grade inflation pre dates COVID for decades. I suppose you are a product of the grade inflation bonanza. Try and understand why good universities are now considering setting their own entrance exams. I wonder why?

Surely someone with 8 o levels can understand?  :nige: :nige:

41  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Southgate on: July 16, 2021, 08:25:25 PM
I agree with your analysis. As you point out, Southgateís reluctance ( or inability)  to change things second half lost us the match.
42  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Southgate on: July 16, 2021, 08:13:14 PM
So Southgateís only hope was penalties. How pathetic is that.
43  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Southgate on: July 16, 2021, 02:25:37 PM
Penalties are a lottery. Even the greatest of players can miss a penalty. After all thecItalians failed with two. The game was lost because Southgate did not know how to change the game. He failed.

All this racist stuff is nothing more than a diversion to keep the flak from Southgate. Rio Ferdinand called it when he says Southgate froze, and was incapable of turning the game around.
48  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Southgate on: July 13, 2021, 02:43:32 PM
You know what you will get with Southgate. Ultra caution and total emphasis on defense, and not conceding. He wants to win every game one nil. Flair, and imaginative football plus tactical nous are foreign to his nature. Iíve now had a few more days to reflect on Sunday and I feel even more pissed off than after the penalties. We will never have a better chance of winning a major trophy. He blew it.
49  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Southgate on: July 12, 2021, 12:50:56 PM
MAYBE BECAUSE HE'S NOT THAT GOOD A MANAGER !!!

I'm afraid you are right. In my book he isn't a wily tactician. He may be good at man  management and dancing to the new woke tune required by the F.A. ,but I don't think he could change a game.
50  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Southgate on: July 12, 2021, 12:41:27 PM
Why could he not see during the second half that the game was slipping away from England. Italy were pinning us down in our own half, and a one goal lead was far too perilous. The same thing happened in 2018 against Croatia. Mancini took decisive action after they conceded, and totally changed the shape of his team.Southgate either stubbornly decided to keep things as they were or simply didn't know what to do. Last night was a huge opportunity missed and England failed to grasp it.Did he not watch the Spain V Italy match?Spain opened Italy up on numerous occasions and squandered really good chances. It's obviously not in Southgate's nature to be decisive or adventurous . England will win nothing under him. No doubt his sanctification in the media will see him continue as manager.
