5  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Twelve goals in twelve games on: September 29, 2018, 04:57:12 PM
Very, very poor.If the defence starts to get shaky then we are in big trouble.
6  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: WHY DO WE ALWAYS MAKE IT HARD WORK....? on: September 29, 2018, 04:49:43 PM
We make it hard work because we find it so difficult to score. This inability to take chances is our Achilles Heel.We will not gain automatic promotion with such a poor goals for column. Its been an issue with Boro for several seasons now and doesn't seem to be getting any better.

The Corbyinista membership must have a death wish. There is no way that Corbyn will walk into Number 10. Unless he gets a job weeding the garden.

11  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: My thoughts on yesterdays performance on: September 23, 2018, 03:20:18 PM
None of our current crop of strikers are fit to lace Bernie's boots.
12  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: My thoughts on yesterdays performance on: September 23, 2018, 03:14:16 PM
Sheddy Bill thinks we are badly lacking in the goal scoring department and He can't see this being rectified until January. He thinks this problem was due to rank business in the last three transfer windows. When did Boro have a half decent striker? Don't say Bamford because he never cut the mustard. :tp4:
13  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: My thoughts on yesterdays performance on: September 23, 2018, 10:49:56 AM
It isn't Pulis who is buggering up its Gibson and Bauser.I wouldn't trust the pair of them to run a corner shop.I would like to see Pulis give Wing and Tavernier a run out too.Apart from the season ticket holders the potential extra fans are keeping their money.I don't blame them as the walk up prices are far too high.
I see Purile C@nt has dropped in on cue. What a dullard.

17  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: MISSED THE CHANCE !!! on: September 22, 2018, 05:37:15 PM
Mingebag is right we do look a very solid team that is hard to beat. Its a pity that the summer transfer window was so disappointing,in that it didn't bring in the quality we so obviously lack. One striker ,a winger and creative midfielder,is what we needed. We could of course do a Cardiff City and grind out results all season and get automatic promotion, but it would be bloody awful to watch.
18  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: MISSED THE CHANCE !!! on: September 22, 2018, 05:23:19 PM
lets look at our strikers.

Britt Assabalonga : Runs around a lot and misses much more than he scores. At 15m he was a poor buy.
Rudy Gestede  : A very poor excuse for a striker.Cost in the region of 5 m.Is painfully slow and another very poor buy.
Ashley Fletcher.Cost 5m and cannot get into the squad.( is he still there or out on loan?) .
Martin Braithwaite.Cost 9 m.Does not want to be at the club.He is at best a sub but he is lightweight.
Jordan Hugill. On loan.Journeyman player not top quality Chimpship striker.
Best part of 40m on strikers yet we consistently struggle to score goals.Yes we are very tight at the back, thank goodness but the goals for column is beginning to look ominous. This striker problem has been at Boro now for a very long time. Why can't the club sort it.They spend enough money on trying to sort it BUT it is spent badly.
19  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: MISSED THE CHANCE !!! on: September 22, 2018, 04:56:01 PM
Swansea are one of the better teams in this division so a point keeps us up there .Having said that however we are not scoring enough goals.Hopefully we are up there in January and a proven goal scorer and wide man are brought in.
20  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: The Dirties are losing... on: September 22, 2018, 03:51:25 PM
Results are helping us but we still cannot score.Needs to bring Hugill on second half.

23  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: No deal it is then, I am happy with that on: September 22, 2018, 09:47:13 AM
Next time Boro lose at home ( heaven forbid) it seems perfectly reasonable for a section of the supporters to demand that the game is replayed. This could be on the basis that we fans are just bad losers ,like a four year old child.FFS get over it.All sides campaigning before the referendum said that leave would mean precisely that. You lost the vote. :tp4:
24  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Jordan Hugill on: September 21, 2018, 05:14:38 PM

26  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: It has come to a pretty pass when ....... on: September 21, 2018, 04:16:34 PM
My apologies.Yes The Labour Government did indeed enact the promised referendum about staying in the Common Market and membership did start from Jan 1973.
27  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: It has come to a pretty pass when ....... on: September 21, 2018, 04:03:18 PM
The point is that we voted to join a Common Market not the EU Empire.Yes we voted first then we joined. Will that do?

31  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Jordan Hugill on: September 21, 2018, 02:57:52 PM
But Sheddy Bill is right. We have a clutch of rather poor strikers. One cost 15 million ffs.I really hope that TP has persuaded The Great Leader to bring in a proper striker a creative midfield maestro and a winger in January.I suspect we will get non of the above.
32  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Jordan Hugill on: September 21, 2018, 02:44:01 PM
Why pick on Hugill. All our other strikers are not doing the business. As for Gestede don't make me Larf.
33  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: It has come to a pretty pass when ....... on: September 21, 2018, 02:42:25 PM
When the UK voted to join the Common Market the process began of creating a Federal State of Europe. It was not what the UK electorate were voting for.Now we see the EU for what it is.It is aprotectionist empire run by unelected bureaucrats taking their orders from Berlin.Yes we are the 5/6 th economic power on this planet and we have the ability to go it alone and become highly successful. We just need to have the courage to do it.
34  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / It has come to a pretty pass when ....... on: September 21, 2018, 01:27:21 PM
The U.K. Is being dictated to by the likes of Malta,Luxembourg,Lithuania to name but a few and total nonentities like Tusk,Varadker and that female clay Bobby president of some Baltic wasteland. We just need to tell them all to F@ck Off and leave on WTO rules whilst slashing Corporation Tax to 5%.

Daft Jim et al.You constantly go on about how leaving the EU will be a disaster. You offer no real argument apart from saying Brexiteers are gullible fools and the Brexit campaign was peddled by charlatans. Will you NOW tell us why staying in this wonderful,EU would be such a good thing. In reality your opinion is worth no more than mine. You are in danger of sounding like a Christian Fundamentalist loon.

According to Wikipedia there are 29 Parliamentary constituencies in the N.E. More than enough to have some real influence.
38  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Two economic powerhouses of EU exhort Uk to have a second referendum. on: September 20, 2018, 11:57:59 AM
I just can't visualise Corbyn as PM.I think Labour have lost a lot of votes in the north of England and they won't get them back.
39  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Two economic powerhouses of EU exhort Uk to have a second referendum. on: September 20, 2018, 11:44:41 AM
I agree Kippers. The only two countries that matter in the EU ( UK excepted ) are Germany and France. Its an absolute joke that The UK has to negotiate with what is essentially a bunch of scroungers, and I include Ireland in that group.Actually the reality is now beginning to surface, and the net recpients( most of the 27) are bricking it because we will leave a massive hole in EU finances when we leave.Bring it on!!!
40  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Two economic powerhouses of EU exhort Uk to have a second referendum. on: September 20, 2018, 10:59:56 AM
Actually Czech Republic and Malta. Two minnows and net recipients of UK taxpayers cash.Still the BBC made it a big story.I supposeMalta must be running out of supplying Russians with false passports. :tp2:
41  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Three points but not impressive. on: September 19, 2018, 10:06:38 PM
Very poor in the final third , and midfield far too ponderous.I'm afraid we don't have a quality striker.Poor business in the summer.Still only one point from top. Will these shortcomings be addressed in January? I hope so because it will be very tight this season. :tp4:

The weather is the same for both teams. My concern is that we will ( yet again) struggle to score more than one goal. :tp2:
