I reckon he's been masterbating over the Chloe Ayling fable and decided to pull off a similar a publicity stunt without furnishing us with all facts such as his the whereabouts of the mystery man on board. Looking at his body frame and type - he's not exactly Michael Phelps.
2  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: Something fishy about the Tiger shark man in Western Australia on: Today at 11:21:26 AM
from facebook ..

So I have had yesterday to recover and just wanted to tell my story in my own words so everyone knows the facts:

Firstly I want to thank everyone involved in my rescue – Shark Bay VMR, the Police, Shark Bay Aviation, SES, Fisheries, Ocean Park, Shark Bay Dive and all the volunteers who joined the search – I am eternally grateful and I’m sure I’ll be buying beers for years to come. I can’t commend you all enough for the speed and efficiency of the response as well as how effectively it was coordinated. For a small town in regional WA it just shows what great community spirit is all about and why joining volunteer organisations like VMR or SES can be incredibly rewarding.

The whole incident started due to a series of unfortunate events. I was out on my boat and jumped in at the last spot of the day for 5 minutes freediving spearfishing. On my first shot I got my spear stuck under a rock and at the same time my friend had mechanical difficulties on the boat causing it to drift away while I was preoccupied freeing the spear. By the time I had the spear back I looked around and couldn’t see the boat. I started to call out and splash to try and get the attention of my friend but after 5 minutes it was clear I was on my own. I had stayed exactly on the GPS mark where I had jumped in but realised there must be something wrong because the boat wasn’t back. I had been splashing and screaming for some time and my heart rate was sky high. I put my head in the water to check I was in the same place and suddenly saw a huge 4m tiger shark approaching within arm’s reach. It was easily the biggest tiger shark I’ve been in the water with and that’s saying something having worked as a dive instructor for over 10 years. I quickly turned and saw another large sandbar whaler circling behind me and it was at that point I decided to give up on getting to the boat and save myself.

It was obvious the sharks had been attracted by my splashing and panicking so I knew immediately that I had to try to calm down in order to survive. I watched the tiger shark circle and then suddenly approach me multiple times from different angles. It was definitely trying to work out what I was and whether I could be “on the menu”, but each time it approached I used my spear gun to block its path. At no point did I touch the shark as I didn’t want to upset it with a prod from the spear and make a bad situation worse. After about 2 minutes of this dance I thought “I have to get out of here” and started swimming for shore. The red cliffs of Francois Peron National Park were very low on the horizon and I knew it was going to be a long swim. The tiger shark was still curious as ever and began following me as I started swimming. I have to admit that at this point I thought I was gone – 4 nautical miles out to sea with a huge tiger shark following me – I thought this was it, this is how I’m going to die. The shark would disappear into the gloom then suddenly reappear behind me, just keeping pace with me behind my fins. Once my heart rate had slowed and I was in a rhythm with my swimming, the shark stopped approaching me and actually started cruising beside me almost like a whale shark. For about 500m the shark swam on the same path as me towards the shore and then in a moment banked and disappeared completely as if to say “you’re ok now I’ll leave you alone”.

The shark was gone but I wasn’t sure it wouldn’t return. The next part was pure endurance; I had to swim constantly looking around from all angles to make sure there wasn’t an unwelcome visitor, with my speargun pointed behind me to stop anything grabbing my fins. I must have swam for around 3 hours, the water got shallower, then deeper so I could not see the bottom which was very nerve wracking as it meant I was still miles from shore. I just kept telling myself “make it to land and you’ll be ok”. Gradually the cliffs started to get easier to see above the chop and I eventually reached the seagrass in the shallows where I could stand. At this point I turned to see all the boats searching for me and the plane flying above. I screamed and waved and splashed but my wetsuit is camouflage so it would be really hard to see me and didn’t have time to take it off before the plane was gone. By the time I got to the beach I was exhausted. I could barely stand my legs were so sore from the 7.5km swim. The plane was out to sea and the boats were also too far to signal. I even tried using my mask to reflect the sunlight towards the boats. I started walking north hoping to get to the camp site at Cattlewell where I could possibly find someone and get a message to everyone that I was ok. I just thought about my wife and how worried she’d be. I just wanted to tell her I was alive.

After about half an hour of walking, just as the sun was setting I suddenly heard the plane coming along the coast. I ran to the middle of the beach and waved my arms in the air. Thankfully the pilot, Lincoln from Shark Bay Aviation, spotted me and circled to show he had seen me. I then saw fisheries boat moving towards the beach and I walked back out to sea to meet them in the shallows. Sgt Kev Pierpoint looked like Daniel Craig as he waded through the shallows to meet me. At which point I told him he was a “sight for sore eyes”. Once on the Fisheries boat Trav and Kev gave me heaps of water and transferred me to Woomerangee, the Shark Bay Dive boat where my wife was waiting to greet me!

And just to add my three take aways from the whole experience were:

1. I feel extremely lucky to be alive and was blown away by the Shark Bay community's efforts to rescue me.

2. You can't be complacent at sea. Even in calm conditions with good weather things can go bad in minutes. I should have put the anchor down and it would have saved a lot of people a lot of time and effort (including me).
 3. I don't want people to be put off coming to Shark Bay to dive and snorkel. It is safe and beautiful. I was in the water for over 3 hours, the pilot spotted heaps of big sharks in the area and even the 4m tiger that was curious didn't try to bite me. These animals are apex predators but we are not "on the menu". We need them in the oceans and as much as it was scary at the time I can only reflect on how beautiful that big female tiger shark was. If the circumstances were different I would have been stoked to have that experience.

34? I think he's lying about his age too, unless the shark encounter caused him to recede.

1. His "mate" who was on the boat and handling "mechanical" issues on the boat. He surfaces after a bout of spear fishing and suddenly the mechanical issues causes the boat to disappear.

2. He then meets the friendliest Tiger shark in the world.

3. He then swims 7 km to shore.

4. He's from Sunderland without a hint of an accent.

Fucking Walter Mitty.

I didn't find it that expensive in Stockholm; London prices + perhaps but nothing like Norway.

Yeah. It's the rationale and sensible bits I'm waiting for.

Believe it or not, raving none stop about a problem on a parochial football message board with about 15 active users doesn't help address it either.

It's just tedious now.

Not as tedious as liberals euphemising and using political speak by classing such an upsurge in crime as "hate crime"

Sweden proposing to deploy armed forces to combat criminal gang activity in "certain" areas. Guess who live in these areas? Trump can be many things but he cannot be accused of being a deluded mealy mouthed wanker who is avoiding the truth.

Moderate Party politician Mikael Cederbratt made the proposal this week saying: “The situation in our areas of exclusion has deteriorated. The gangs have taken over and the police have had to retreat. Swedish law no longer applies there.”

“It is absolutely necessary to do something, because these gangs are like cancerous tumours in our country, and it is urgent. My absolute belief is that we, the nation of Sweden, must declare war on criminal gangs,” Cederbratt said.

Castrate rapists and paedos

Chastise young offenders, not protect them with rights
22  ComeOnBoro.com / ComeOnBoro.com Message Board / Re: The jocks make it illegal to smack kids... on: October 20, 2017, 02:56:15 PM
There is a massive difference between a gentle attention seeking and protective (yet a chastising) tap on the wrist for a small excitable boy who is putting himself in danger to physically abusing your child for playing up.

As a Father of two, my first one was a dream of a kid, did as she was told and responded to different voice tones. The second one was the complete opposite - an utter rascal at times who challenged authority as a 2 year old. He played up a lot and became far too excitable at times which on occasion put him in danger. When he did not respond to an aggressive voice he'd have to be informed physically so that he knew his parents meant business. On the very odd occasion a gentle tap combined with different tone of voice was necessary it brought tears and induced a degree of calmness into his behaviour. Now he's a great well rounded young man.

As mentioned above - let's focus on physiological cruelty and emotional neglect which goes on in a lot of families, especially in middle England.

I already thought it was illegal.  Don't really know of any parents who smack their kids any more.  Seems to have died out on it's own.

Smacking or assaulting?

Any views on the legality of it?

Mine is this; what a load of shite beyond what is assault which is already covered by UK law.

How about clamping down on neglect and tougher sentences for all classes of parents (including the McCann's), not just the slum class.

Women in senior HR roles really are dangerous chameleon creatures (talk about snakes with tits) and any of them that are remotely tasty are there because they have been on Weinstein casting Couch to swallow the HR Director's contents.  The ones that genuinely care and/or not prepared to swallow remain in junior HR roles.

It seems that very often men (99% of the time it's men) get this feeling of being teflon, and abuse their staff and often this involves sexual abuse. I read that there may be a strain of psychopathy in such men. They don't even knew w it's wrong

Most work is done during day hours and shift lads do low risk boring stuff out of hours but work their socks off shutting down and starting up when the pressure is on. There's also ptw stuff and vessel cleaning etc. In saying that shift lads are lazy cunts and great at crosswords.

Did some walking and cycling in Tenerife last year. Have to say it is an underrated place with Teide and the scenery. It is completely different to the place I recall from the 80s/90's when the only place I visited was Veronica's and other girls hotel rooms.

In saying that, stopped in an all-inclusive place which I hardly used apart from Breakfast and in the evening it was like being caught up in a scene from Benidorm. The organised entertainment was atrocious and so working class. Not much available snatch either which made it worse.

If he's been tee-total for 10 years then you'd expect the liver to make a full recovery. Looking at his recent pictures he looked like a boozer. He must have been a heavy one to succumb at 51.
